Week 4 of Inspiration from A Little Bit Naughty CD

Hi there
Here is week 4 of inspiration from A Little Bit Naughty CD.

This one is taken from the Tag Card Section on the cd. I printed off onto a piece of A4 the base of the tag and pages 2 and 3 of this kit from the Tag Card Section on the cd. I cut out all elements needed and arranged everything before attaching to the base. I applied rhinestones to the top of the tags and attached all elements with 3D foam pads and finished off with rhinestones to the flower centres. I stamped the verse for the card onto the sunbeam insert and attached to the card base.

Hope you have enjoyed my inspiration over the last 4 weeks for this lovely cd and I will be back next week with inspiration from another Kraftyhands cd.

All my cards can be seen at www.jeanette-jjdesigns.blogspot.co.uk.

See you all soon.

I die cut Tonic Studios Royal Frame die x 2 and attached 1 of the die cuts to the easel then applied the topper and some rhinestones and ribbon bows. The second die cut I cut off the outer flourishes to make a base for the sentiment, I then threaded the paper ribbon through the die cut and attached to the base of the easel, applying a sentiment with 3D foam pads and some rhinestones.

the matching papers.
I then added this to the centre of my card.

Next I took a length of gem chain across the top of the lace.

chain in the bow. I added my bow to the side of my topper.
I then added a crystal bow to the centre of the bow.

To Finish with I cut out my sentiment which I threaded a
piece of white ribbon throw it.
I added it to the top of my topper.

All wrapped up

Hello and welcome to my space here at Kraftyhands Blog .

Monday is my day for posting and today  I  would like to share with you a card made from
S for Santa CD ROM .

I printed out the 1st  6x6  card kit

After cutting out all the pieces I adhered the front layer  to Real Red card base .
The fun Santa topper is 3D and added to front , along with the chosen sentiment , which  I  added with foam dots .

INSIDE
I printed out one of the bonus papers  , added to  the inside and then added the sentiment  panel   .

Assembly is the most rewarding part of any card but even that does not come without some trepidation . Do  I add a  bow or some bling or glitter ? Do I ink the edges or leave them as is ?
I am not a lazy crafter, more a frugal card maker . Most if not all my cards are postal friendly , so I am a  minimalist card maker .

Now here is where you can buy this  very useful  CD ROM .

S for Santa CD Collection

CDs are certainly a very handy tool to have in your craft room . Most projects are suitable for mixing and matching elements from other projects so there can be as much variety as your imagination will allow . Inspiration can also be found in the card kit designs so by using what paper and images that you have in your craft room , you could create your own version of any kit .
That is it for my post today .I surely do hope that I have tickled your fancy this time .

See you here same place same time next Monday .
In the meantime you might like to visit me

cheers Shirley-Anne.

Butterfly Botanicals CD

Hi there
Welcome to the 4th week of `Blast From The Past` Kraftyhands cds. This week I'm showing a gift bag I made using a template from HERE and elements from Butterfly Botanicals cd available to buy from HERE.

I downloaded the template from the link above and cut out, scored and folded and glued the sides with a wet glue. I die cut the fancy edge in kraft card and threaded red ribbon through the holes along the top. I mat and layered a piece of kraft card to the front of the bag and mat and layered a background paper from the cd and attached to the kraft card, I attached the die cut to the top of the bag after attaching red ribbon for the handle and attached large red rhinestones to cover the hole where the ribbon was threaded through. I cut out 2 of the same butterflies and a sentiment, decoupaged the butterfly and attached this and the sentiment with 3d foam pads. Attached a flower with Pinflair glue and found a metal flower charm in my stash which I fixed to the die cut with jump rings. Applied a magnetic clasp inside the bag to keep closed.

True friends, Miranda & Mo , introduced by Shirley-Anne

Good Morning and welcome to my space on the Kraftyhands Blog .
Thank you for calling in and I hope that you like my card .
Today I am  using  my first CD ROM from Kraftyhands .

There are several quick card making sets , topper sets, gift boxes and backing papers so that mix and matches are possible .
More examples on my blog ,
http://shirley-anne-stampingforjoy.blogspot.com.au/2013/07/pink-delight.html

http://shirley-anne-stampingforjoy.blogspot.com.au/2013/04/kraftyhands-challenge-aprilshowers.html

This fabulous CD is
available at this link.
 http://www.kraftyhandsonline.co.uk/webshop/prod_2416275-Miranda-Mo-CD-Collection.html

Firstly I printed my chosen card  and backing paper and cut  out all pieces . This is only my own preference as I did not want to have a plain white inside . So I printed on both sides of my A4 card stock for the card base .
                                                                           For inside

For card front

After cutting out I used a SU marker to edge the card .This covers any white that may be showing .
I punched the circle sentiment but still went around the edge with marker .

For the inside I just added a Very Vanilla panel for greeting ,with stamp from Inkadinkado.

And whoopie , my finished card .
This one fits perfectly into a 14cm [ 5 1/2"] envelope .

As regular followers of my personal blogs will know I am not one for embellishing a card but if you are then you could make any of the card sets your own by the addition of bling or bow ..whew,  say that fast!

Well , that is my first post on Kraftyhands Blog .Hope that I did not lose you half way in .
Do call in again because other DT members are posting their projects too and they are sure to be inspirational .

See you here same place same time next Monday .
cheers Shirley-Anne.

Vintage Chic Boutique Deluxe Edition CD

Hi there
Welcome to my 3rd week of `Blast From The Past` Kraftyhands cds. This week I am showing you how I made an extra large tag from the Vintage Chic Boutique Deluxe Edition cd available to buy from HERE

I opened Craft Artist Pro and resized the Gift Tag template to A4 size and printed off x2 with a background paper from the cd. I scored 2cm in from the left edge on the 2nd tag, applied doublesided tape and attached to the back of the 1st tag to form a A4 size card. I resized the green topper and perfume bottle and also the sentiments and printed off and cut out. I attached 4 doilies to the base of the card, attached 3 pink feathers with Pinflair glue. I also attached the green topper with Pinflair glue to give more depth and attached the perfume bottle, and sentiments with 3D foam pads. Flowers and skeleton leaves attached with Pinflair glue. I then finished off with pastel pink ribbon to the hole in the top of the tag. I also applied Glossy Accents to the perfume bottle to make it look like a glass bottle.

Teacup Zoo CD

Hi there
I thought I would have a month of `Blast From The Past` so every Wednesday for the month of April I will be showing you inspiration from different Kraftyhands CDs which are on sale HERE

So my 1st week is from Teacup Zoo CD.

I printed off and cut out all elements. I scored down the centre of the scalloped circle and folded in half, you might have to cut a sliver off the scallop that it stands on, all depends on how many embellishments you attach to one side, it can make it too heavy and the card leans over to one side. I then attached the smaller circle with double sided tape and pyramaged the panda and attached with 3d foam pads. I die cut a flourish and attached with a sentiment, paper buttons and a bow.

To see all my cards and craft creations please click on www.jeanette-jjdesigns.blogspot.co.uk and also scroll through this blog to see mine and other Design Team creations.

See you all again next Wednesday.

Yet Again Another Card from CreateIt Magazine Issue 6

Hi there
This is my creation of Project 3 in the Create It Magazine Issue 6
I printed off both pages and die cut the round frame by placing the die under the ladys leg and fingers and cut out the inner image with my craft knife. I then cut out the decoupage elements and layered with 3d foam pads. I then die cut Tonic Twisting Veranda outer edge die x2 to make a card blank in white, I used the same outer edge die to die cut black glitter card which was attached to the back of the second largest die cut, I then die cut the rest of the dies in black  card and used the 3rd largest die edge to die cut red glitter card which was attached to the back of the die cut black card. I attached the base of the lady and frame to the inner rim of die cut and decoupaged 2 more layers. I finished of with a sentiment.
Till the next time
