Luv2Txt

Hi there

Jeanette here, hope you are all enjoying the warm weather and getting a tan.
This time I am showing how to make a stepper card with items from the new Luv2Txt cd which is being launched on 18 July and is on pre-order  HERE

I printed off both sheets needed and a background paper. Made up a stepper card and attached background paper to sides and across the stepper at the front. I attached the yellow background to the middle step and attached the decoupage, sentiments and ribbon with 3d foam pads. Finished off with gold colour metal rhinestones.

Don`t forget our monthly challenge which starts on the 7th of each month HERE. July challenge is Wrap It Up (gift boxes).
You can see all my cards made for Kraftyhands and lots more at www.jeanette-jjdesigns.blogspot.co.uk.

Photo Frame

What do you do with all the bits and bobs left over from when you print sheets and don't use everything?
well the answer is to make a lovely gift for someone. A photo Frame.

I have used bits from the Emporium of Curiosities CD but you can use any Kraftyhands CD, that is suitable for the person you are giving the frame too.
Take out the glass and starting with a backing paper, layer your bits with ribbons, bows and flowers. Highlight some of the design with Glossy Accents and you have a wonderful gift for someone or you can keep it for yourself.

Thank you for stopping by today. Watch out for the other Design Team members work too.

Dangerous Dinosaurs Gift Bag

Hi Folks
Mags here to share a little inspiration with you.
Today I wanted to show you how easy it is to decorate a fabulous gift box just using papers and toppers from a CD.  I have used the Dangerous Dinosaurs CD which is available here.

I used a kraft coloured paper gift bag which I found in my local craft shop.  The topper from the CD was printed out quite large and matted onto some of the papers on the CD.  I decoupaged the topper for added dimension.  A simple sentiment from the CD finished the project.  Very easy to do but very effective and any young dinosaur fan would love to receive a gift in this.

Thanks for popping by and would love to know what you think.

Bye for now

Butterfly Botanicals Stepper Card

Hi there
You may have seen this card in the Butterfly Botanicals Gallery HERE and wondered how I made it.

I used images from the Butterfly Botanical cd available to buy HERE. I printed off 2 images, one to use as a base and 1 to cut up and use the butterflies for decoupage. I mat and layered the base onto red mirror card.
I then printed of a background paper onto an A4 sheet of card and then turned it over to print a middle stepper template on the reverse.

I then cut the template and scored and folded to form the stepper card with the printed side at the front. I then die cut 4 Spellbinders Shapeabilities Butterfly Corner Die (S5-165) in white card and attached to the stepper card with glue. I cut out a sentiment and attached to the card covering where the die cut corners crossed over and attached 3 butterflies to cover the 3 other crossover points. To finish off you can glitter the butterflies and add rhinestones. The sentiment and extra butterflies are also on the cd.

To see all my creations please visit www.jeanette-jjdesigns.blogspot.co.uk.

There is a new cd being launched on 18 July LUV2TXT available to pre-order from http://www.kraftyhandsonline.co.uk/webshop/prod_3793270-LUV-2-TXT-CD-Collection-PreOrder.html. A great cd for making cards for the younger generation.

Till the next time

Steampunk Emporium Collection CD

Todays card is using the Steampunk CD. I love the way the steampunk is mixed with lacy papers and borders. It makes it so usable for ladies as well as men.
On this card I have used the lacy border and added large gems from my stash, over the large dots within the border. I added pearls around the sentiment which overall makes a lovely feminine card.

You can but this CD in the Kraftyhands shop HERE

Also have a look at the Gallery photo's HERE  for a few more ideas.

Teacup Zoo

Hi Folks
Hope you are all well.  Mags here to share a little inspiration with you.

Today I have used the Teacup Zoo CD to create a little shaped tent style card.  I already had the card blank so it was a simple case of printing out the image and papers I wanted to use.  This CD is gorgeous and the images are really cute.

I matted the image onto a doily die shape that I cut out of purple cardstock.  For embellishments I used a bitty blossom die from Spellbinders for the rolled flowers and punched a butterfly out of patterned paper and card.  A ribbon bow and some card candi and pearls finished the card.

Thanks for popping by today and would love to know what you think.

Bye for now
