Troublesome Teens

Morning all Julie here with your inspiration, hope you are all having a good week so far.

My card I am sharing with you today is from the Create It Four magazine found HERE, I have chosen the Troublesome Teens Jumping for Joy, just perfect for female or male cards.

You will need :-
8x8 card blank
Double sides tape or wet glue
3D glue gel or foam pads or tape.

Print out the pages from the CD and cut all the elements out and layer them up on to your card blank, there are sentiments to choose from and a pink mobile if you want it for a female.

I hope I have given you a little inspiration, look forward to sharing some more with you soon, in the meantime there will be inspiration for you from the rest of the DT, take care and happy crafting.

Teacup Zoo Triple Easel Card

Hi Everyone
My name is Jeanette and I am on the Design Team for Kraftyhands.
I have been cardmaking now for over 8 years and have been on the Kraftyhands DT since January 2014 and I love it. I have been featured in the Create It Magazines from Kraftyhands and make samples for the boys for their programmes on www.britishcraftsnetwork.tv.
Every month commencing on the 7th day we have a new blog challenge which I also make cards for which you will find here.  Our latest challenge is Nature`s Work www.kraftyhands.blogspot.co.uk/2015/04/april-challenge-natures-work.html which closes on 30th April so click on the link to enter your creations.
My blog is at www.jeanette-jjdesigns.blogspot.co.uk where you can find every card I have made since I started cardmaking or click on my picture down on the left side of this blog.
Anyway here goes the instructions for the card I have featured today:-

I have never made a triple easel card like this before so thought I would have a go.
Step 1:I die cut 3 large designs and assembled to make an easel card.
Step 2: I then pencilled round the inside of the die onto Retro Roses 12 x 12 backing papers and cut them out and glued onto the card.
Step 3: I repeated step 1 and step 2 two more times but using the smaller dies.
Step 4: I coloured a white doily with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Spun Sugar and inked round the edges of the Leopard and Deer Toppers and attached to the easel card.
Step 5: I die cut a flourish and flower using free dies from a magazine and attached to large easel
Step 6: I die cut the small sentiment tag and die cut Happy Birthday using Rob Adams Sentiment Die, finished off with die cutting a flower and butterfly attaching them to the front easel and added rhinestones.
Step 7: Glued the 3 easel cards together, positioning so the easels behind each one all stood up at the same level.
See you all again soon.

Pyramid cards with Sports Shirts CD.

My name is Linda and I am one of the Design Team members for Kraftyhands.
Today I am going to show you how to make a Pyramid card. this post is heavy on photos. So please bear with me.

The finished Project.
Using the new Sports Shirts CD. available HERE

First you will need 3 sheets of card.
I am going to make the smaller one.
Cut your 3 sheets of card to 6x6 inches. You can make this to any size you like. You just need 3 squares the same size. The larger one is 8x8 inch squares.

Score your 3 squares from corner to corner

Fold and score.

Place the second square on top of the first square like this.

Then the 3rd onto the second.
I mark a line with pencil, where the upper card comes on the lower card, ready to place my glue.
Attach the next square. Then the 3rd square.

You are now ready to decorate.

Once decorated, fold the two back edges around each other, I secured them with tiny magnets but you could also use a velcro dot.

I hope you will enjoy using this idea.

'KEW'

Hi everyone,

It is my turn to post on here today.

Don't forget too that there is a lovely challenge each month.  It would be lovely to see you all joining in.

I fancied doing something a little bit different to a card and have a photo to share of a gift bag I made using the lovely Dutch Doobadoo A4 gift bag template.  This is simply cut from one A4 sheet of card.  ( Found here)  I find these so easy to use and quite addictive!

I have used the lovely 'Kew' papers from Kraftyhands shop  I think these have to be one of my favourite packs of papers!  There is not one design in the pack that I do not like!  How often do we get that?!

The heart die is from Noor Designs UK  and I layered a smaller heart die-cut using the same papers onto the fancy heart die-cut.  You will see that lace has been used for the handle.  I like this better than the handle on the template to be honest.

The embellishments are from Live and Love Crafts and as always anything else is from my stash.

Thanks for looking today everyone, and I hope you have a lovely day,

Judy x

A Little Bit Naughty

Hi Everyone
It's Mags here and thanks for popping by today.

I would like to share a little inspiration for you using images and papers from the A Little Bit Naughty CD which can be found here.

This was made using one of the card sets on the CD.  I love the design and these do make for quick cards which you can embellish in any way you want.  I printed out the elements and then cut them out.  All the papers, images and sentiments are from the CD.  I added some stickles around the main image for a bit of sparkle.  Some gems in the corner and some striped ribbon from my stash finished the card.

Bye for now and watch out for regular inspiration from the design team.
