Holly & Snowflake Tutorial By DT Member Mags Binder

As Christmas time approaches faster than the speed of life, we have another fantastical Christmas project tutorial by another new Kraftyhands DT member Mags Binder using the Holly &Snowflake Cd Collection. You can buy it from the Kraftyhands website by clicking here!

Now it's over to Mags to explain how she created the fabulous milk carton!

Hi Folks
I decided that I wanted to make an alternative to a christmas cracker.  I already had a template for a little milk carton saved on my computer so went with that idea.

Step One
Print off all the required elements from the CD - in this case, backing paper, inner toppers and outer toppers.  You will also need some ribbon to decorate, a cocktail stick and some little pegs.

Step Two
I printed off the template for the milk carton box onto the reverse of the backing paper.

Step Three
Assemble the milk carton box.

Step Four
Decorate the little box.  I kept it quite simple by just putting some ribbon around the top and bottom of the box.  I didn't want the top of the box to be stuck together so used a couple of little pegs to keep it closed.

 Step Five
Cut out one of the inner toppers and the outer topper to match.  Stick these together with a cocktail stick sandwiched between them.  Decorate with pearls.

 Step Six
Make a small hole in the top of your milk carton and insert your cocktail stick through it.  Your table decoration is now complete and can be filled with your own choice of gifts.

Happy Crafting
