A Little Bit Naughty CD

Hi there
So it is coming up to summer I thought I would have 4 weeks of summer inspiration from the A Little Bit Naughty cd available to buy HERE

I printed off both pages and cut out all elements. Attached the background paper to a 6"x6" blank card, attached the paper ribbons across the top and bottom, arranged the sunbeams, and maps layers and attached the toppers with 3D foam pads. Tucked in 2x Day pass tickets, added a sentiment with 3D foam pads and 3 paper buttons.

All my cards I have made can be seen at www.jeanette-jjdesigns.blogspot.com

See you all again next Wednesday with more inspiration from this cd.

All wrapped up

Hello and welcome to my space here at Kraftyhands Blog .

Monday is my day for posting and today  I  would like to share with you a card made from
S for Santa CD ROM .

I printed out the 1st  6x6  card kit

After cutting out all the pieces I adhered the front layer  to Real Red card base .
The fun Santa topper is 3D and added to front , along with the chosen sentiment , which  I  added with foam dots .

INSIDE
I printed out one of the bonus papers  , added to  the inside and then added the sentiment  panel   .

Assembly is the most rewarding part of any card but even that does not come without some trepidation . Do  I add a  bow or some bling or glitter ? Do I ink the edges or leave them as is ?
I am not a lazy crafter, more a frugal card maker . Most if not all my cards are postal friendly , so I am a  minimalist card maker .

Now here is where you can buy this  very useful  CD ROM .

S for Santa CD Collection

CDs are certainly a very handy tool to have in your craft room . Most projects are suitable for mixing and matching elements from other projects so there can be as much variety as your imagination will allow . Inspiration can also be found in the card kit designs so by using what paper and images that you have in your craft room , you could create your own version of any kit .
That is it for my post today .I surely do hope that I have tickled your fancy this time .

See you here same place same time next Monday .
In the meantime you might like to visit me

Garden Floral Cd

Good Morning all Debs here with a little Inspiration
this Thursday morning.
I hope you are all well today.

For this card I have used the Garden Floral CD.

To make this card I started with a pink 8"x 8" card
which I mat and layered it with three papers
from the cd.
Before I stuck the top mat down I wrapped a piece
of white ribbon around the centre of it.

I then printed off my image and I mat and layered it with
pink card.
Using foam pads I added it to the centre of my card.
Next I tied a large white bow which I added to the side of my topper.

I then made two stick pins which I added to the bow.

To finish with I added some pearls to all four corners.
If you would like t see more of my work I welcome
you to visit my Blog which is

That's all for today and I'll be back next Thursday.

Butterfly Botanicals CD

Hi there
Welcome to the 4th week of `Blast From The Past` Kraftyhands cds. This week I'm showing a gift bag I made using a template from HERE and elements from Butterfly Botanicals cd available to buy from HERE.

I downloaded the template from the link above and cut out, scored and folded and glued the sides with a wet glue. I die cut the fancy edge in kraft card and threaded red ribbon through the holes along the top. I mat and layered a piece of kraft card to the front of the bag and mat and layered a background paper from the cd and attached to the kraft card, I attached the die cut to the top of the bag after attaching red ribbon for the handle and attached large red rhinestones to cover the hole where the ribbon was threaded through. I cut out 2 of the same butterflies and a sentiment, decoupaged the butterfly and attached this and the sentiment with 3d foam pads. Attached a flower with Pinflair glue and found a metal flower charm in my stash which I fixed to the die cut with jump rings. Applied a magnetic clasp inside the bag to keep closed.

True friends, Miranda & Mo , introduced by Shirley-Anne

Good Morning and welcome to my space on the Kraftyhands Blog .
Thank you for calling in and I hope that you like my card .
Today I am  using  my first CD ROM from Kraftyhands .

There are several quick card making sets , topper sets, gift boxes and backing papers so that mix and matches are possible .
More examples on my blog ,
http://shirley-anne-stampingforjoy.blogspot.com.au/2013/07/pink-delight.html

http://shirley-anne-stampingforjoy.blogspot.com.au/2013/04/kraftyhands-challenge-aprilshowers.html

This fabulous CD is
available at this link.
 http://www.kraftyhandsonline.co.uk/webshop/prod_2416275-Miranda-Mo-CD-Collection.html

Firstly I printed my chosen card  and backing paper and cut  out all pieces . This is only my own preference as I did not want to have a plain white inside . So I printed on both sides of my A4 card stock for the card base .
                                                                           For inside

For card front

After cutting out I used a SU marker to edge the card .This covers any white that may be showing .
I punched the circle sentiment but still went around the edge with marker .

For the inside I just added a Very Vanilla panel for greeting ,with stamp from Inkadinkado.

And whoopie , my finished card .
This one fits perfectly into a 14cm [ 5 1/2"] envelope .

As regular followers of my personal blogs will know I am not one for embellishing a card but if you are then you could make any of the card sets your own by the addition of bling or bow ..whew,  say that fast!

Well , that is my first post on Kraftyhands Blog .Hope that I did not lose you half way in .
Do call in again because other DT members are posting their projects too and they are sure to be inspirational .

See you here same place same time next Monday .
cheers Shirley-Anne.

Vintage Chic Boutique Deluxe Edition CD

Hi there
Welcome to my 3rd week of `Blast From The Past` Kraftyhands cds. This week I am showing you how I made an extra large tag from the Vintage Chic Boutique Deluxe Edition cd available to buy from HERE

I opened Craft Artist Pro and resized the Gift Tag template to A4 size and printed off x2 with a background paper from the cd. I scored 2cm in from the left edge on the 2nd tag, applied doublesided tape and attached to the back of the 1st tag to form a A4 size card. I resized the green topper and perfume bottle and also the sentiments and printed off and cut out. I attached 4 doilies to the base of the card, attached 3 pink feathers with Pinflair glue. I also attached the green topper with Pinflair glue to give more depth and attached the perfume bottle, and sentiments with 3D foam pads. Flowers and skeleton leaves attached with Pinflair glue. I then finished off with pastel pink ribbon to the hole in the top of the tag. I also applied Glossy Accents to the perfume bottle to make it look like a glass bottle.

April Blog Challenge

It's time for the Kraftyhands April Blog Challenge but before we look at the fabulous creations by our talented DT, lets look at the winners of last month's challenge.

We had 3 entries into the challenge, only 1 of which used Kraftyhands products in the creation of their projects.

So the winner is once again No 2. Tracey. B

Congratulations Tracey, we will reactivate your voucher code from last month! If you can't remember it please email mike@kraftyhands.co.uk

As we only had 2 other entries, you can consider yourselves runners up! Please grab your badges from below!
To be considered as a winner you must use at least one Kraftyhands branded product and the winner will be picked at random using random.org.

You can still play along if you don't have any Kraftyhands products and you could still be chosen as a runners up and will be given an honourable mention!

So onto April's challenge, this month we're feeling patriotic and so the colours and shape reflects a "Britannia" feel. So lets see what our very talented DT have come up with using the new prompt for April.
